The midweek round concluded with two postponed Thursday matches. Sassuolo won 2-1 at Cagliari with goals from Laurienté and Pinamonti. The Neroverdi now level with Atalanta on 13 points, while the Sardinians remain on nine. Pisa-Lazio, meanwhile, drew 0-0, with the Tuscans moving up to five points and awaiting their first league win.
