Serie A: Roma loses to Cagliari, Napoli wins against Juventus and stays top of the table

Serie A: Roma loses at Cagliari, Napoli beats Juventus and stays top of the table.

Cremonese continued to surprise, earning their second consecutive victory with a 2-0 win against Lecce. Roma, however, suffered their second consecutive defeat, struggling more than expected in Cagliari and losing 1-0. Bologna drew 1-1 at Lazio, thanks in part to a superb Ravaglia, and remain in the upper echelons of the table. Finally, Napoli won the big match against Juventus with a decisive brace from Hojlund.

Cremonese-Lecce 2-0

Cremonese continues to impress. After their away win at Bologna, Nicola's team also defeated Lecce 2-0. The visitors got off to a favorable start, coming close to taking the lead through Stulic, but he was unable to convert a brilliant chance.

The game unlocked in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bonazzoli converted from the spot after a foul by Ramadani on Vandeputte in the box. The doubling came in the 78th minute, when Sanabria sign the 2-0 scoring the first goal in the grey-red shirt which definitively closed the game.

Cagliari-Roma 1-0

Cagliari regains its first home win in nearly three months, against the worst Roma side they've seen so far. After a slow and uneventful first half, the two teams went into halftime tied 0-0.

In the second half, Celik was sent off for a last-man foul in the 51st minute, leaving the Giallorossi with ten men. From that moment on, Gasperini's team began to suffer Cagliari's initiatives. In the 83rd minute, Gaetano to decide the match with a goal from a corner kick. It ends 1-0.

Lazio-Bologna 1-1

The match only heats up at the end of the first half when Isaac, good at taking advantage of Ravaglia's short clearance, putting Lazio ahead in the 38th minute. Bologna's response was immediate and was scored by Odgaard, who scored the equalizer in the 40th minute, after a great individual move by Zortea. In the second half, the Biancocelesti attempted to take the lead, but found themselves faced with an unstoppable Ravaglia. Sarri's team was also reduced to ten men by Gila's red card towards the end, and was forced to defend the tie. Ends 1-1.

Napoli-Juventus 2-1

The big match was unlocked after a few minutes. In the 7th minute Neres ran down the right and passed it in the middle for hojlund who beat everyone to the scoreline, making it 1-0. In the first half, Juventus never threatened and couldn't even get a shot on target. Antonio Conte's team, however, came close to doubling their lead with Di Lorenzo's header, but Di Gregorio saved.

In the second half, the Bianconeri made the most of their first shot towards the opponent's goal with Star served by Mckennie makes it 1-1. Mckennie himself however proves fatal in the 78th minute, when he inadvertently serves hojlund who only had to head the ball into the net to give the Azzurri the lead. Spalletti's team tried to build towards the end, but without creating any danger. The match ends 2-1.
