Serie A: Inter Milan secures a last-gasp victory against Verona, while Milan narrowly defeats Roma. Fiorentina continues its crisis.
Inter, Milan, and Roma are now one point behind league leaders Napoli. The Nerazzurri won 2-1 in Verona thanks to a last-minute own goal. Milan won the big match against the Giallorossi 1-0, drawing level with them in the standings. Fiorentina also lost to Lecce, remaining in second-to-last place and with Pioli's departure ever closer.
