Serie A: Cagliari secures first win, Napoli takes full points.
Cagliari broke their drought and earned their first three points of the 2025/26 Serie A season, defeating Parma 2-0 in front of their home crowd at Unipol Domus. Napoli, meanwhile, continued their perfect record, defeating Fiorentina 3-1 away to join Juventus at the top of the table.

At the Franchi stadium in Florence, Antonio Conte's Napoli continued their perfect run, scoring their third consecutive league victory by beating Fiorentina 3-1. The Azzurri dominated for an hour, taking the lead as early as the 6th minute with Kevin de bruyne from the penalty spot, after a foul on Anguissa. The doubling came in the 14th minute, scored by hojlund, his first goal in the Neapolitan shirt.
In the second half, despite the Viola's attempt to react, Napoli found the third goal with Beukema in the 51st minute, virtually closing the game. Only in the final moments did Pioli's team reduce the deficit thanks to Ranieri and almost made it 3-2 with Piccoli, but it wasn't enough to avoid the first defeat of the season after two away draws. It ends 1-3.
