Juventus, Allegri sacked: "Behavior not compatible with the values of the club".
“Juventus announces that it has relieved Massimiliano Allegri of his role as coach of the men's first team”. This is what we read in a note from Juventus club. “The exemption – continues the club – follows certain behaviors during and after the Italian Cup final that the company considered not compatible with Juventus values and with the behavior that those who represent it must have".
“A period of collaboration comes to an end, which began in 2014, started again in 2021 and ended after the last 3 seasons together with the Italian Cup Final. The company wishes Massimiliano Allegri good luck for his future projects.", concludes the club in the press release.
The team will be entrusted to Paolo Montero for this season finale. The Juventus Under 19 coach is the one chosen to act as “ferryman” in view of the last two days of the championship, with Danilo and his teammates facing Bologna away on Monday evening and Monza at the Stadium on the weekend of 25-26 May. There won't be an announcement today because Montero has to serve a one-match ban. His announcement could be postponed until tomorrow (in order to allow him to “unload” the suspension in the match between Frosinone and Juve U19 scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 18 May at 11:00).
In addition to Allegri, Juventus has sacked the Livorno coach's entire staff. Instead, both remain Padoin is Magnanelli – “additional” collaborators and club men, not belonging to Allegri's staff – who will direct the team's training tomorrow, awaiting Montero's official announcement.
