David Messina is dead, farewell to the dean of sports journalists.

He died at the age of 92, David Messina, doyen of sports journalism and great football signature.

For 15 years it was also President Glgs-Ussi Lombardy, the group of sports journalists who broke the news, expressing their condolences for the passing of a “master” of the profession.

Born in Palermo and graduated in law, David Messina made his debut in sports journalism as a young man in Sicily as a local correspondent for Tuttosport, to be soon called to Milano by virtue of his professional qualities.

He worked for the Print, Corriere dello Sport and then to the Journal of Sport, where his signature was always in the foreground in the football pages.
