MotoGP, qualifying for the Misano Grand Prix: pole position for Martin, 2nd Bezzecchi and 3rd Bagnaia.

The twelfth Grand Prix of the MotoGP season begins in Misano. As always we start with qualifications. Q1 also sees, among those who failed to enter the top 10 after Friday's tests, Aleix Espargarò, Quartararo, Morbidelli, Pirro who will be a wild card like Pedrosa, Miller, Zarco and Oliveira. After the first attempt Oliveira finds himself in the lead ahead of Quartararo, Pirro, Augusto Fernandez, Bradl and Morbidelli. The drivers return to the pits to make a second run valid for moving into Q2. Everyone improved and the 2 Aprilias of Oliveira and Aleix Espargarò advanced to Q2. Quartararo will start 13th, Pirro 14th, Zarco 16th, Miller 18th and Morbidelli 19th.

Q2 is the moment in which 12 qualified riders enter "alien" mode and try to sign the turn of the century by relying on the patron saint of motorcyclists "San Brembo" to avoid slipping during the "crazy lap" valid for pole position. Martin puts himself ahead of everyone after the first attempt ahead of Bezzecchi, Bagnaia, Binder and Aleix Espargarò. The drivers return to the pits to change tires and attempt a new assault on pole position. Martin adjusted his time and signed the pole position in 1'30”390, setting the record lap of the track. Bezzecchi confirmed himself as 2nd, with a sore hand, and Bagnaia 3rd, heroic after the terrible accident in Barcelona. Vinales, Pedrosa and Aleix Espargarò will start from the second row. 7th Binder, 8th Marini, 9th Marc Marquez, 10th Oliveira, 11th Alex Marquez and 12th Raul Fernandez.

Jorge Martin “Martinator” takes pole position with an impressive lap, like a Martian, shattering the track record. The number 89 will start in front of everyone both in today's sprint race at 15pm and in tomorrow's race at 14pm.
