Moto GP restarts its engines and lands in the United States for the third stage of this World Championship. The appointment is in Austin, Texas, on the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) track from March 28 to 30.
Marquez seeks hat-trick, Bagnaia revenge
The spotlight is all on Marc Marquez, the real star of this start to the season. After dominating in Thailand and Argentina, the multiple Spanish champion arrives in Austin with a haul of 74 points. The number 93, on the Texan circuit, has already won seven times in his career (more than anyone else) and is ready to confirm this in his first season in the official Ducati. Ready to spoil the party for him we find his younger brother Alex Marquez. Alex has finished second in both of the first two GPs and is chasing his brother on his Ducati Gresini with 58 pointsThe American weekend will also be a test for Francis Bagnaia, which has to react to an inconsistent start to the season. Third in the standings with 43 points, Pecco must find certainties, so as not to leave too much margin to a Marc Marquez in a state of grace. In Texas he won only once, in Moto2 in 2018, while in 2022 he had conquered the Sprint Race.
