Bologna: the Davis Cup is coming. From August 28th to 30th the trophy will be exported to the public at the headquarters of the Region. The countdown for the 2024 edition has begun.

Bologna – The countdown has begun for the Davis Cup who returns to Bologna by 10 15 to September: one of the four qualifying groups will be staged again this year at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (Bo), with the representatives of Italy, Belgium, Holland and Brazil.

And waiting to be able to cheer on the champions led by Captain Volandri, returning from the extraordinary victory of the last edition, this year too the many fans of this sport will be able to admire the historic salad bowl-shaped trophy.

The arrival of the Cup, symbol par excellence of the most prestigious team tournament in the history of men's tennis, is scheduled for Wednesday 28 August at 15pm at the Region headquarters (entrance on viale Aldo Moro 52), where it will be on display to the public until August 30th. These are the visiting hours: Wednesday 28th from 15pm to 19pm, Thursday 29th from 9am to 19pm, Friday 30th from 9am to 18pm. Subsequently, from 2nd September the transfer to the Municipality of Bologna in the headquarters of Palazzo d'Accursio in Piazza Maggiore.

For the third consecutive year therefore the Emilia-Romagna Sport Valley is preparing to host one of the most important international sporting events, thanks to an agreement between the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Municipality of Bologna, which will bring one of the four groups of the final stages of the tournament under the Two Towers until 2026.
