The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted as "sport strengthens Italy's reputation abroad, contributing to the economic and social growth of the country thanks to the attraction of tourist flows and investments, thus enhancing the territory“. The Giro d'Italia, continued Tajani, “it also represents abroad the image of a country that is racing towards new goals".
