The closing ceremony of the school competition promoted by the Liguria Region and ACES Cinema, part of the "Liguria 2025 – European Region of Sport" program, took place at the Nickelodeon Film Club. The event was attended by the regional councilor for Sport and Education, Simona Ferro.
A slalom of emotions: young people celebrate sport on the big screen.
The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Regional School Office and the Cineguida Association, involved fourteen Ligurian primary and secondary schools. The students produced short films dedicated to the theme. "Sport in Liguria: opportunities, values, and emotions in practicing physical activity in the region."
«This competition – the councilor underlined – It demonstrates how sport represents a universal language, capable of uniting creativity, passion, and inclusion. Our young people have been able to authentically convey values that make us proud as a community and as the European Region of Sport.
The day concluded with the award ceremony for the three best works, which were projected on the big screen. Third place went to Marconi Delpino High School in Chiavari with the project "Sport in Liguria between opportunities, values, emotions". Second place went to at the Maria Ausiliatrice Institute in Genoa With "SportivaMente in Liguria. A sea... and mountains of opportunities." The students triumphed. of the Gaslini-Meucci Institute of Genoa with the video “A slalom of emotions”, already presented in June in the Sala della Trasparenza and subsequently awarded on August 30th in Venice at AIVA 2025 (Aces International Video Awards).
