Ancona: Persiani gym, inauguration of a new mural dedicated to sport.

A new mural painting at the Persiani municipal gym was inaugurated in the presence of the sports facilities councilor Daniele Berardinelli and the deputy mayor and sports councilor Giovanni Zinni.

The work represents the world of sport through its disciplines and was created by the artist Skugio, who was commissioned by the University Sports Center - Cus Ancona, which manages the gym.

“The inauguration – states councilor Berardinelli – it was also an opportunity to learn more about the activities that take place within these historic premises under the guidance of the Cus, which can become a point of reference for the neighborhood and the entire city. It is the Administration's intention to enhance more and more places like this, also by creating virtuous systems which, with a view to the recovery of currently unused urban containers, can offer sports clubs and athletes additional opportunities for practicing different disciplines".

“The Persiani gym – says deputy mayor Zinni – thanks to the healthy practice of sport and the always careful management of the Cus, today it represents an element of great balance in this area of ​​Ancona. It is the sign of how sport can be combined daily and systematically with society and with the conduct of correct lifestyles, inside and outside the gym, which are not only good for the athletes but are certainly an example and a stimulus also for the surrounding environment".

The University Sports Center of Ancona, with the involvement of the Italian Sports Climbing Federation (Fasi) and the Italian Judo, Wrestling, Karate, Martial Arts Federation (Fijlkam), promotes sports climbing activities for children and adults within the gym, Greco-Roman wrestling for adults and children, boxing for adults, capoeira for adults, MMA for adults, weight room for everyone, yoga and functional gymnastics.
