Lombardy, together with Veneto and Trentino, will host the 2028 Winter Youth Olympics with the project Dolomiti Valtellina 2028. The international event, awarded by the IOC, will enhance the legacy of Milano Cortina 2026, confirming the region as a protagonist of world sport.

Lombardy wins 2028 Winter Youth Olympics (YOG – Youth Olympic Games) together with Veneto and Trentino. The IOC (International Olympic Committee), during the ceremony held at theOlympic House Lausanne, has awarded the next edition of the Games to the 'Dolomiti Valtellina 2028' project, built on the legacy of the Olympics Milano Cortina 2026.
