Trapani, 42 year old arrested for drug dealing
The search was triggered by the report of some citizens and two blocks of hashish were found in the jacket and a scale in the apartment.
Trapani, over the past weekend the Carabinieri of the Pantelleria station have an islander was arrested for the crime of possession for the purpose of dealing drugs.
The man, burdened by specific precedents, had attracted the attention of the staff of the local Carabinieri station as some citizens had reported a coming and going of people, probably to stock up on narcotics.
The Carabinieri thus organized targeted observation services and, having understood that the report could be well founded, in agreement with the Judicial Authority they decided to intervene.
During a check-up, given the particular state of nervousness the subject was experiencing, the soldiers subjected him to a search and found two blocks of hashish weighing a total of 115 grams hidden on his person, as well as a precision scale inside his home.
Excluding personal use, given the quantity, the Carabinieri arrested him and subjected him to house arrest until the validation hearing which took place yesterday where he was subjected to the obligation to reside on the island with the obligation not to leave home at night.
The investigators' investigations continue in order to gather further investigative evidence.
