Messina, October under the banner of the EPIC project
The project's October calendar takes shape EPIC, organized by Mana Chuma Theatre in collaboration with Latitudes Network e Theater of the 3 Professions.
This particular initiative, which will continue until the end of December 2022, is supported by Municipality of Messina and from the funds FUSMore (Single Entertainment Fund) of Ministry of Culture.
The new appointment, scheduled for Friday 7 October at 21.00 pm, he will see the show on stage "Nobody's wife” at the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri (Production The Crucible). Dramaturgy and direction will be by Virginia Martini and will see as the protagonist Rita Atzeri. The work tells the story of Joyce Salvadori Lussu, the heroine of anti-fascism, who passed away at the age of 86 in 1998.
It is not a show about Joyce Lussu but a show with and for Joyce Lussu. The drama intertwines Joyce's time with ours, the problems she faced and those we have to deal with today.
Subsequently, Sunday 9 October, at 19.30 pm, the Consolo Hall of the Horcynus Orca Foundation Park di Cape Pelorus will host "Chamber tales”, a Mana Chuma Theater production by Salvatore Arena and Massimo Barilla. On p
alco an imaginary posthumous dialogue between Stefano D'arrigo, author of Horcynus Orca, e Vincenzo Consolo, among the most important writers of the second half of the 900th century.
