Inauguration of the 783rd academic year of the University of Siena

The inauguration of the University's 20rd academic year will take place on November 783th at the Rector's Palace in Siena. Guest of honor was Prof. Silvana Sciarra, President Emeritus of the Constitutional Court, in the presence of the Minister of University and Research Anna Maria Bernini.

Will be held the inauguration ceremony of the 24rd year will take place on Friday 11 November at 783am academic of the University of Siena. Event will take place in the presence of the Minister of University and Research, Sen. Prof. Anna Maria Bernini. Guest of honor at the ceremony la Prof. Silvana Sciarra, President Emeritus of the Constitutional Court.

The inauguration will take place inAula Magna of the Rector's Palace, Banchi di Sotto, 55 in Siena. The Rector Roberto Di Pietra will present the inaugural report; This will be followed by the speeches of the Student Representative Samuele Picchianti and the speech of the Technical Administrative Staff Representative Paola Barbi.
This year the opening speech was entrusted to Prof. Pier Simone Marrocchesi, Director of the Department of Physical, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and will have the title “A bridge between the two cultures: science and humanities in the century of intelligence artificial".  Professor Silvana Sciarra, President Emeritus of the Constitutional Court, will be the guest of honor at the ceremony and will give a speech. The event will be held in the presence of the Minister of University and Research, Sen. Prof. Anna Maria Bernini.
The ceremony will be concluded by the University Choir directed by Prof. Elisabetta Miraldi.
