Albenga: three non-EU citizens reported for receiving stolen goods intercepted su a stolen car.

The activities of the Albenga Carabinieri Company Command for the prevention and repression of crimes against property continue, through careful and constant control of the territory.

In this context, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section reported three Moroccan citizens for receiving stolen goods.
In particular, during a daily patrol carried out in recent days, the military, in the Vadino area of ​​Albenga, intercepted a car with three men on board, a vehicle that was later found to be the object of a theft committed that same morning in Villanova d'Albenga, to the detriment of a 64-year-old from Borghetto Santo Spirito.

The suspects aroused the Carabinieri's suspicions when they were driven by the young man, a person already known to the Police who, although he is in fact homeless, has been frequenting the Municipality of Albenga for some time.

Realizing that they had attracted the attention of the Carabinieri patrol, the three attempted to evade the controls by entering a petrol station, but were promptly stopped by the military.
Upon reaching the car, the occupants turned out to be of Moroccan origin, all illegally residing in the country, unemployed and with criminal records.

The Radiomobile soldiers, then assisted by the Carabinieri of the Ceriale Station who had arrived on site in the meantime to provide support, took care of accompanying the three arrested persons to the headquarters of the Carabinieri Company of Albenga to complete the formal procedures.
Once the investigations were completed, the three Moroccans were reported to the local Judicial Authority for the crimes of receiving stolen goods in competition as well as illegal entry and residence in the national territory.

One of the three, the driver, was also fined for not having a driving licence since he had never obtained one.
The positive outcome of the control was possible thanks to the constant and effective presence of the Carabinieri patrols on the territory, which confirm the attention of the Carabinieri in the prevention and repression of crimes in general and crimes against property in particular, which affect the province of Savona especially in the summer period.

The professionalism, the precise knowledge of the territory and its inhabitants, together with the perfect coordination of the available forces, allowed to return, fortunately without damage, the car to its rightful owner.
