Nocera Superiore and Cava de' Tirreni: extraordinary checks by the Carabinieri, arrests, reports and sanctions.

A Nocera Superiore e Cava de 'Tirreni, the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Nocera Inferiore they carried out a extraordinary territorial control serviceThe operation aimed to prevent and suppress crimes, with particular attention to:
– Thefts in homes and commercial activities
– Fight against drug dealing
– Verification of compliance with the Highway Code

The activity involved the NAS and the Sarno Carabinieri Dog Unita device of 11 patrols and 40 soldiers.

Results of the operation

• 126 vehicles checked
• 150 people identified
• Numerous fines for violations of the Highway Code

Furthermore, they were two arrest warrants carried out:

• A 50 year old from San Giuseppe Vesuviano (NA) e a 63 year old from Scafati (SA), both for violation of the obligations relating to the precautionary measures to which they were subjected.

They were also reported to the judicial authorities:

• An 18 year old from Angri e a 35 year old from Nocera Superiore for illegal carrying of objects capable of offendingThe two were found in possession of, respectively, a knife e a baseball bat during a traffic check.

Drugs and checks in B&Bs

• Three drug users reported to the Prefecture of Salerno for the possession of marijuana.
• Checks on some accommodation facilities by the Anti-adulteration and Health Unit of Salerno, to verify the regularity of the activities.

The operation is part of a broader plan of security and monitoring of the territory by the police.
