Sala Consilina (SA), controls strengthened to combat home thefts.
Since last week, in the territory of Sala Consilina there is an active one Operational Intervention Team, specialized in territorial control and the fight against predatory crimeThe unit operates in support of the local stations and the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus.
The objective of the Intervention Team is to intensify controls and counter the activity of criminal groups dedicated to home burglaries, increasing the surveillance in the territory south of Salerno. During the operations, the military carried out checks on 5 public establishments, 72 vehicles and 101 people, issuing several fines for violations of the Highway Code.
To ensure maximum effectiveness of the operation, citizens are invited to collaborate actively, promptly reporting to the 112 the presence of suspicious people or vehicles near homes, as well as any thefts or attempted break-ins. This will allow law enforcement to intervene quickly and implement targeted operational plans to intercept any criminals fleeing or entering the territory.
