The Rimini Police Headquarters personnel escorted a non-EU citizen with multiple criminal convictions and an irregular status on the national territory to the CPR in Bari.
The Moroccan citizen, who had already been photographed several times, was identified and reported on the evening of November 13 by the personnel of the Rimini Flying Squad for an attempted theft committed against a commercial activity in the city. He, in fact, caught in the act, was accompanied to the Police Headquarters to be identified and, following the photo-reporting, the numerous criminal and police records against him emerged.

In particular, the same person was convicted in 2017 for personal injury and aggravated robbery, in 2021 for resisting a public official and aggravated robbery, arrested for aggravated robbery in 2023, as well as the recipient of various expulsion orders to be executed with an order to leave the territory, never complied with by the foreigner. Furthermore, the same person had also been responsible, just a few days earlier, for an aggravated robbery committed in the province of Milano.

Therefore, once accompanied and identified, the Moroccan citizen was placed at the disposal of the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters and was accompanied to the CPR of Bari to await subsequent repatriation to the country of origin, with the adoption of the detention order issued by the Police Chief of Rimini, subsequently validated by the territorially competent Justice of the Peace.
