The Emilia-Romagna Region will also be present with its own stand at FISHING SHOW 2025, International exhibition of sport fishing, pleasure boating and outdoor, hosted for the first time in the exhibition center of Rimini.
Come to his 24esima edition, the event – which will bring together market news, demonstrations, test areas, experts and influencers of the sector – will open its doors on Friday 7 February, to close on Sunday 9th.
In Emilia-Romagna, the estimate of sport and “recreational” fishermen is wandering around 60 thousand units; a number destined to grow if we consider the national dimension.

PESCARE SHOW undoubtedly represents an important opportunity for companies operating in this sector and a moment of meeting and involvement for all enthusiasts.".
In addition to being present with the stand, the Region, in particular the Wildlife and Hunting Activities, Fishing and Aquaculture Sector, organized a series of institutional meetings, with the involvement of theItalian Recreational Sport Fishing Association (such as the appointment on the history and tradition of fishing huts in Emilia-Romagna) and theUniversity of Bologna – Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences (sport fishing as a vector of tourism in the national fishing economy and the protection of the European eel with the related Lifeel project).
During these meetings, the sector representatives of the Region will address the issues relating to regulated fishing areas in Emilia-Romagna, sport fishing and European territorial cooperation, in addition to the drafting of a fishing calendar.
FISHING SHOW 2025 is organized by Italian Exhibition Group, in partnership with Fipsas (Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities).
