Rimini, he hid 12 doses of cocaine inside a sock: 34-year-old criminal expelled.

A 34-year-old Albanian man was arrested by the Rimini State Police, in flagrante delicto, for the crime of drug dealing and illegal re-entry into the territory of the state. The man was expelled and repatriated to his country of origin.

The activity, developed following the information-investigative acquisitions of the Flying Squad, is the result of the implementation of controls and monitoring of widespread crime phenomena in the city and, in particular, for the dealing of narcotic substances.

The detectives of the Flying Squad were monitoring the man, since, from investigative findings, it had emerged that he was making deliveries of narcotics in some locations in the province of Rimini using his own car.

Therefore, On the afternoon of May 27, the men of the Flying Squad identified the subject in the Marina Centro area of ​​Rimini, while he was driving an SUV.

The same, when checked by the operators, was found in possession of a large sum of money, in banknotes of various denominations and two mobile phones, while in the car, hidden inside a sock, hidden in the cavity of the steering column, a narcotic substance of the "cocaine" type was found and seized, packaged in no. 12 doses, with heat-sealed casings, for a total weight of approximately 12 grams and then arrested for detention for the purpose of dealing the narcotic substance.

During the identification procedures that took place at the police station, it emerged that the subject, with other details, was already known to the police force, as he had been arrested for crimes related to drug trafficking and still burdened by the security measure of expulsion from Italian territory, ordered by the Court of Cosenza and executed on 13.03.2022.

The aforementioned person was then also arrested for violation of the legislation regarding illegal re-entry into the Italian State.

The Judicial Authority, after having celebrated a very direct rite, validated the application of the precautionary measure adopted, also issuing authorization for the expulsion of the same from the territory of the State.

The Immigration Office of the Rimini Police Headquarters, consequently, activated the repatriation procedure, obtaining from the Justice of the Peace the validation of the order of escort to the border, issued by the Rimini Police Chief.

On the evening of May 29, the foreigner was accompanied to the Bologna air border, where he boarded a flight to Albania, escorted by police personnel.
