During the weekend, targeted crime prevention and repression services were organized, entrusted to the men of the Rimini State Police, to increase the level of security in the city.

In recent days, the Police Headquarters has prepared a strengthened plan which has allowed the Agents and Police specialties to check overall, over three days at the end of the week, 413 people and 124 vehicles and to carry out 19 checkpoints;

During the entire activity were performed five arrests; specifically, two individuals were arrested who were suspiciously hanging around the houses in the hilly area of ​​Rimini, one individual with a European arrest warrant, one in flagrante delicto and another following drug dealing.

In particular, last Sunday, in the early hours of the afternoon, a police car intercepted a vehicle with three subjects on board who was wandering in a suspicious manner near properties in the Santa Cristina area. The subjects, at the sight of the policemen, they fled, triggering a chase first by car, then on foot through the fields. Two of these were reached, blocked and arrested.

Staff from the Railway Police Section tracked down and arrested a Polish citizen under a European arrest warrant, issued by the Judicial Authority of the country of origin, following various crimes against property for which it was on the run for almost 9 years.

The Flying Police officers carried out a arrest in flagrante delicto of a person who, inside a shop in the "Le Befane" shopping centre, had removed sporting goods.

The agents of the Flying Squad, following the monitoring of the illicit activities of drug dealing in the sea area, on Friday, assured justice of a Peruvian subject, in possession of several doses of marijuana and cash, which was seized as the proceeds of the drug dealing activity.

The Traffic Police carried out a targeted service against the "Saturday evening massacres" in Riccione, checking 20 vehicles and 35 people on board. 23 alcohol tests were carried out, of which 5 with a positive result following which 4 licenses were withdrawn, and 7 drug tests, of which 1 with a positive result for cannabinoids. At the end of the activity they were elevated 10 violations of the Highway Code.
