Rimini: 6 young people arrested and reported for four robberies in Marina Centro.

La Rimini State Police he arrested in flagrant crime two minors of foreign nationality and reported others four young people for aggravated robbery continued in competition.

The modus operandi of the robberies

At about 18:00, on the report of the Operations Room, a patrol car intervened at the bus stop “Kennedy” of the Metromare line, where a man reported being approached in the pedestrian underpass of the Maria Callas Park from a group of six guys. One of them, with the excuse of asking for a cigarette, threatened with a knife, ordering him to hand over money and cell phoneThe victim managed to escape without being robbed.

Shortly after, a second report came in of another aggression near the park: the gang has threatened with a knife a young man, taking him away cash and phone.

The police, while patrolling the area, intercepted a third victim, attacked with the same modus operandi. Subsequently, aanother person injured with a knife from one of the gang members.

The arrest of the group

Thanks to a detailed description provided by the victims, the officers identified a group of six guys in the underpass of the public transport line.

During the personal search, were found in possession of:

• Stolen goods (money and cell phones)
• Two knives
• Two balaclavas

All the young people were taken to the police station, where the victims recognized them as those responsible for the attacks.

Measures adopted

• Two minors arrested for aggravated robbery continued in competition and reported for carrying of weapons and objects capable of causing offence.
• Four young people reported at liberty.

Il PM on duty ordered the transfer of the two arrested to the First reception center of Bologna.
