Rieti, resistance and injuries to a Public Official. Man arrested by the Carabinieri

The Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Carabinieri Company of Rieti arrested a thirty-year-old of foreign origins in flagrante delicto for resisting and injuring a public official.

The arrest took place a few evenings ago, during an intervention requested through the Single Emergency Number 112 due to the presence of a man who, according to what was reported by some passers-by, he was wandering in the historic center of the capital, trying to enter some houses.
Given the particularity of the report, a patrol from the local Company's Radiomobile Section was immediately sent to the scene.

Here the soldiers actually found a man who, in an evidently altered state of psychophysics, was trying to enter the door of a building.
During the identification phase, he suddenly lunged at the two soldiers, biting one of them on the hand.

Immediately stopped and declared under arrest, he was subsequently accompanied to the offices of the Provincial Command of Rieti.
At the end of the routine checks, by order of the Magistrate on Duty at the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Rieti, The man was taken to his home and placed under house arrest.
The attacked Carabiniere, fortunately slightly injured, was instead treated at the Emergency Room of the De Lellis Hospital.
