Rieti: Personal injury and possession of objects capable of causing offence, a 20-year-old reported at large

The Carabinieri of the Rieti Station have a 20-year-old foreign national was reported at large for the crime of personal injury and possession of objects capable of causing offence. The complaint was filed at the end of an intervention carried out by the military of the Arma, following a report received by the Single Emergency Number 112 regarding a fight in progress in Piazza Oberdan, near the railway station of the capital. The Carabinieri, who immediately arrived on the scene, identified two men engaged in a heated argument, and with considerable difficulty calmed them down.

From the reconstruction of the facts it emerged that the'Today's defendant, during the argument, which broke out over trivial reasons, had violently punched his opponent in the face, also a foreigner, who fortunately did not suffer serious injuries. The first was also found in possession of a chain, used in the fight, which was later seized. At the end of the investigations, the interested party was reported at large and will now have to answer for the crime of personal injury and possession of objects capable of offending.

Furthermore, a complaint has been made against him proposal for the application of the so-called Urban Daspo, now under consideration by the competent State Police Authority, an administrative measure aimed at limiting the freedom of movement of the interested party in order to protect public safety within the municipal territory. It is noted, as usual, that the criminal proceedings are still in the preliminary investigation phase and that any criminal liability will be assessed by the Judicial Authority.
