Rieti, 25-year-old arrested for stalking and mistreating his ex-girlfriend.

In the last few days, the Agents of the Mobile Squad of the Rieti Police Headquarters have a 25-year-old man arrested Rieti for mistreatment and stalking committed against his Ex Girlfriend.

The young woman put out a complaint against her ex-boyfriend that during their romantic relationship, which later ended, he had mistreated and persecuted. The physically assaulted, deprived of personal freedom and addressed her with heavy insults when she dared to contradict him.

The woman told how, in several circumstances, at the height of continuous arguments, her ex-boyfriend had abandoned in an isolated area of ​​the city deprived of the house keys or when, on holiday, during a camping trip, he even had them locked her phone to prevent her from communicating with other people who could have helped her. On another occasion, again at the height of an argument, he had prevented her from leaving the house by locking the front door of the house.

The police have heard several witnesses close to the two young people, collecting numerous clues that have confirmed the version of facts told by the woman.

The agents also found that man, at the beginning of his relationship with the victim, in 2023, was already recipient of precautionary measure, with electronic bracelet, applied to him to monitor his movements as he was under investigation crime of mistreatment in the family committed against the previous partner.

The seriousness of the facts allowed the GIP of the Court of Rieti to issue the precautionary measure of the ahouse arrest with application of electronic bracelet which was carried out by the State Police Agents who, after having tracked him down, arrested him and took him to his home at his disposal.
