Fara in Sabina, 48-year-old arrested for mistreatment in the family and aggravated injuries.

The Carabinieri Station of Fara in Sabina arrested a forty-eight-year-old local man, with a criminal record, for mistreatment of the family and aggravated personal injury.

The arrest occurred during an intervention requested by the mother of the arrested man, tired of the umpteenth request for money that, not having been granted, had provoked a violent reaction from the man.

The latter had hit the elderly lady with kicks, punches and slaps, so much so that the woman was forced to call the emergency number 112 to avoid more serious consequences.

The military of Fara in Sabina, alerted by the operator of the Operations Center of the Carabinieri Company of Poggio Mirteto, immediately intervened at the home of the applicant where, with no small difficulty, they managed to stop her son.

Due to her injuries, the woman was transported by ambulance to the Emergency Room of the “San Camillo de Lellis” Hospital in Rieti.
Having reconstructed what happened, the man was declared under arrest and placed under house arrest in another home he owned in Rome, with the prohibition of approaching the places frequented by his mother.

Despite these measures, he violated the prescriptions imposed on him and, the following day, with the false excuse of taking some clothes, he attempted to sneak into his mother's house. However, he was surprised by the military of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Carabinieri Company of Poggio Mirteto and arrested again.
