Potenza: surveillance and prevention on the territory with control services throughout the province
The Provincial Carabinieri Command of Potenza continues with determination its action of control of the territory, with the primary objective of protecting the safety and tranquility of citizens. As a result of this, 2 arrests were made, 3 reports were made to the Judicial Authority and some attempted burglaries in homes were foiled.

The Provincial Carabinieri Command of Potenza continues with determination its action of controlling the territory, with the primary objective of protecting the safety and tranquility of citizens. A constant commitment that, in this period, has translated into an intensification of surveillance services, especially to combat predatory crimes. The commitment made in recent days has led to significant results, the result of a careful study of the criminal phenomena that emerged from the investigative activity and the consequent deployment of forces deployed daily by the Companies and territorial Stations.
The Carabinieri of the Lavello Station arrested a 53-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, residents of the province, caught red-handed while loading material stored in the yard of a local company onto a van. The arrest was validated by the GIP of the Court of Potenza, who ordered the obligation for the man to report to the Judicial Police and the release of the woman.
In Oppido Lucano, the Radiomobile soldiers of the Carabinieri Company of Acerenza reported to the Judicial Authority of Potenza three Moroccan citizens, aged between 49 and 34, domiciled in the province of Foggia, found in possession of burglary tools, torches and gloves.
In Picerno, the Carabinieri of the local station, thanks also to the reports received by the Single Emergency Number 112, have foiled three attempted burglaries in homes, both in the town centre and on the outskirts. The promptness of the intervention and the coordination with the patrols of the neighboring stations and the Radiomobile Section of the Potenza Company forced the criminals to flee.
The synergy between citizens and Law Enforcement is confirmed as a fundamental element for achieving concrete results. The collaboration of citizens, through reports and information, is a valuable contribution that allows to better direct the action of Law Enforcement and to prevent the commission of crimes.
