Power: Extraordinary control service, hundreds of people and vehicles checked
There is no solution of continuity.prevention and contrast work to the recent resurgence of crimes against property on the territory of Potenza by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Potenza. The men of the Carabinieri have implemented a extraordinary control service employing on the roads of the Province about 100 soldiers and 40 patrols of the Companies and territorial Stations. A device designed and implemented to provide an adequate response to the citizens' request for security through the control of nerve centers of the road system and sensitive objectives. Hundreds of people and vehicles were checked, searches, seizures, reports and violations of the highway code were contested for several thousand euros.
A massive deployment of forces and an intensification of controls that, although not eradicating them, given a couple of isolated phenomena that are unrelated to each other, limited the raids on the territory with excellent operational results managing, on the one hand, to limit and contain the phenomenon and, on the other, allowing the collection of valuable information, useful for calibrating the use of forces in the field, improving their effectiveness.
Every single criminal episode, the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Potenza reports, represents a wound for the community and is a reason for further commitment for the institutions. The Carabinieri are always at the side of the citizens, present in a peculiar and widespread way with their Stations even in the smallest and most remote urban centers, fully woven into the local reality, aware of its critical issues, conscious of its needs. The appeal is broad all citizens to use, without any hesitation, the Single Emergency Number 112 or the Arma's offices in the territory to report any suspicious situation and allow the Police to intervene promptly and effectively.
