With careful planning and effective use of resources, the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Potenza continue to intensify territorial control activities thanks to widespread presence of the Companies and the dependent Stations.

Over the weekend just ended, the Carabinieri of the Lagonegro and Viggiano Companies, with the collaboration of some specialty departments including the NAS of Potenza and Tito's Dog Unit, they carried out a extraordinary territorial control service tending to to combat any type of illegality, with particular reference to violations in narcotics and road traffic.

In this context it was strengthened supervision on municipal and state roads and in places of aggregation, including major public establishments.

At the end of the service, the military personnel of the Arma have 7 people reported at large, between 23 and 76 years old, of which:

• 4 for driving under the influence of alcohol

• 1 for driving under the influence of psychotropic substances

• 1 for refusal to undergo a drug test

• 1 for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition

In addition to having Eight people between the ages of 8 and 23 were reported to the Prefecture of Potenza. for personal use of narcotic substances.
