Zangrillo signs 35 million allocation for the staff of research institutions
Valuing the commitment of research institute staff, in relation to the specific activities carried out and the achievement of higher objectives, is now possible thanks to the decree of distribution of the funds allocated for this purpose by the budget law.
It is over 35 million euros allocated to promoting the development of researchers, technologists and technical-administrative staff of the research institutions eligible for the benefit. The decree was signed today by the Minister for Public Administration, Senator Paolo Zangrillo.
“A competitive country – underlines Minister Zangrillo – it is also what valorises, recognizing its importance, those who carry out an essential research role. It is in this direction that Italy is moving and the decree signed today represents yet more proof of the attention that this Government also has towards those who, with dedication and passion, are committed to improving the quality and prospects of life of all citizens through the new frontiers of science".
The allocation of resources to the technical-administrative staff will take place proportionally taking into account, within the maximum per capita limit of 15 percent of the gross annual salary, the degree of participation offered, both in terms of quantity and quality, in projects, activities and events that contribute to increasing the international competitiveness of the country's research system and scientific, technological and cultural know-how.
The text, drawn up in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance on the basis of the criteria and resources established by the budget law for 2024, it will be subjected to the signature of the Minister of Economy and Finance to then be submitted to the control bodies.
