It is from these bases that the labor decree began, launched on the symbolic date of May 1st. Now that the measure has concluded its first examination in the Senate, it is enriched with other measures, from further changes on the new inclusion allowance for the extension of smart working.

The decree raises the tax-free threshold for 'compensation in kind' granted by the employer (from meal vouchers to bill bonuses) from the current 258 euros to 3 thousand euros, but only for employees with dependent children. With the coverage found during the conversion, the fringe benefits will be exempt not only from taxes, but also from social security contributions.

As regards the renewal of fixed-term contracts, within the first 12 months they may not only be extended but also renewed “freely”, without the expected reasons; subsequently only with the reasons.

The beneficiary of theinclusion check with children under 14 is required to accept a permanent offer only if within 80 km or reachable in 2 hours by public transport. For the temporary or temporary job offer, in addition to the distance being within 80 km, it is also required that it can be reached within 2 hours by public transport. Furthermore, the number of beneficiaries of the allowance is expanding and is extended to people being treated at social and health services. Furthermore, applications for the grant can also be submitted through the Caf affiliated with INPS.

Agile working, which ends on June 30th for both private and public, it is extended in the private sector until 31 December for both fragile workers and parents of under 14s, while in the PA until 30 September only for the fragile.

A summer bonus also arrives for tourism workers: from 2023 June 21 to 2023 September 15, workers in the tourism sector, including spa establishments, will be paid a sum as a special supplementary treatment, which does not contribute to the formation of income, equal to XNUMX% of gross wages for night work and overtime.

The purchase of the 'family booklet', the INPS service to pay for occasional work such as housework, babysitting or tutoring can also be done in tobacconists, as well as through the INPS IT platform and in post offices.

 Women who are victims of violence will be able to form a family unit independent of their husband's, also for ISEE purposes for accessing the inclusion allowance. They will also be able to take advantage of personalized inclusion paths.

It is increased by 5 million for this year the support fund for the families of victims of serious accidents at work.

Resources provided for 7 million for 4 years for the training of personnel employed on ships.

New resources equal to 20 million for the early retirement of journalists. This is provided for in an amendment to the labor decree presented by the rapporteur Paola Mancini and approved in the Senate. The change authorizes additional resources equal to 1,2 million for 2023, 4 million for each year from 2024 to 2027 and 2,8 million for 2028 to support early access to pensions for professional journalists registered with the National Welfare Institute of Italian Journalists (INPGI) employed by publishing companies of daily newspapers, periodicals and nationally distributed news agencies.
