Vicenza: new social card “Dedicated to you” for 1243 beneficiary families

The letters that the City of Vicenza, on the instructions of INPS, is sending to the 1243 families beneficiaries of the new social card “Dedicated to you”.

«We are sending letters to all the beneficiaries that INPS has indicated to us – explains the councilor for social policies Matteo Tosetto -. These are letters that will then lead the user to go to the nearest post office to collect the 500 euro card. For all information, as a Municipality we have made available the number of the “Vicenza solidale” counter».

The list of families benefiting from the card includes the DSU protocol numbers in ascending order, combined with the card number (for new beneficiaries) or the wording "Already paid in 2023" for those who have already received the contribution last year. It is granted a single contribution per family unit, of a total amount equal to 500 €. For those who have already been beneficiaries since 2023, the card is recharged and ready to use. It is also essential to make at least one purchase by the 16 December 2024 and use up the credit within 28 February 2025.

Su 1243 beneficiaries, for a total of 621.500 euros, 608 have already been beneficiaries in 2023 and 635 are the new families benefiting from the card. In 2023, the beneficiaries were 1214 for a total amount of 607.000 euros.

The card can be used to purchase basic food items (excluding alcohol) and fuels as well as, as an alternative to the latter, subscriptions to local public transport services.

The contribution it is not up to to families that, on the date of entry into force of the decree, include recipients of: inclusion allowance, citizen's income, shopping card, and any other social inclusion or poverty support measure that provides for the provision of an economic subsidy (at national, regional or municipal level). Furthermore, it does not apply to families in which at least one member is a recipient of Naspi (New Social Insurance for Employment) or Dis - Coll (Monthly Unemployment Benefit for Collaborators), mobility allowance, solidarity funds for income integration, Cig (earnings integration fund), or any other form of wage integration, or support in the case of involuntary unemployment, provided by the State.
