La Spezia: Melara Park entrusted to the Melara City company.

La Melara City company was awarded, following a public tender procedure, the assignment in concession of the green area inside of of the Melara Park in via dei Pini.
The area, owned by the municipality, is made up of a square/amphitheater partly surrounded by steps, a building used as a bar-restaurant with an adjoining portico-dehor area, another building entirely intended for toilets and changing rooms, a five-a-side football pitch and an equipped children's play area.
In recent months the Melara park had been the subject of a profound redevelopment through some works carried out by the Municipality aimed at adapting the safety regulations which affected the arrangement of the electrical systems and infrastructures present within the Park together with careful maintenance of the greenery and the installation of new games for the little ones .
“The Melara Park, with the interventions carried out and the concession assigned – declares the Mayor Pierluigi Peracchini – goes back to being a point of reference for the residents of Melara who will be able to make use of a redeveloped and decent area. The municipal administration progressively carries out specific projects in each neighborhood to improve the quality of life of those who live there and to provide the city with increasingly efficient and functional spaces and structures.”
“In recent years we have worked to ensure that the municipal heritage was redeveloped and valorised to return it to the Community - declares the Heritage councilor Manuela Gagliardi. This new assignment will allow the citizens of Melara to be able to take advantage of a beautiful, decent and safe area. Melara is yet another example of the work carried out by this administration which has the good and goods of its citizens at heart."
