The Municipality of Cagliari joins the ENTIRE LIFE project

Full support from the Department of Technological Innovation, Environment and Sea Policies of the Municipality of Cagliari, in concert with Cacip, Saras and Rina Consulting, on the ENTIRE LIFE project with the aim of reducing CO2 through the processing of used tyres.

Among the aims is to make a contribution to the mitigation of climate change.

Innovative intent

The Municipality of Cagliari has decided to support the innovative intent of the ENTIRE LIFE project to recycle and valorise end-of-life tires through a low-temperature pyrolysis process and to produce, in a completely circular and environmentally sustainable solution, aviation fuel, new tires and energy, the next application and use of which would reduce the extraction of crude oil.

New eco-sustainable production facilities

The Administration supports the proposal of Cacip, Saras and Rina Consulting for participation in the tender which provides concrete financing for the construction of the plant, participating in the Program for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE).
