Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani is on a mission to Belgrade for the Italy-Serbia Business Forum, strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries. Meetings are planned with Serbian President Vučić and Minister Djuric to also discuss the European integration of the Balkans.
Il Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani is on a mission to Belgrade today to participate in the Italy-Serbia Business Forum. As part of the mission, I am Institutional meetings are planned with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Serbian Foreign Minister, Marko Djuric.
The Entrepreneurial Forum is part of the Italian growth diplomacy strategy and sees the participation of over 400 Italian and Serbian companies, a sign of the growing interest in strengthening ties between the Italian and Serbian markets, bringing the business communities of the two countries closer together and generating new investment opportunities.
During the institutional meetings, Minister Tajani will also raise the issue of completing the "path of reunification of the Balkans with Europe", a strategic priority not only for Italy but also for the European Union. To help accelerate the region's European integration process, the Minister Tajani will chair a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans in Rome on 10 February, of the group of 'friendly' countries together with the High Representative Kallas and the Commissioner for Enlargement Kos.
Tajani's in Serbia It is the third mission after those of November 2022, immediately after the settlement, and of nNovember 2023 and demonstrates the utmost attention that the Italian Government continues to give to the Balkan area, a key region for the stability of the entire European continent.
