Planted on a mission in the next few days in the United States
The Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi will be on a mission to the United States in the next few days for institutional meetings with the Secretary of Internal Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, and with the US Deputy Minister of Justice, Lisa Monaco.
In Washington, the head of the Interior Ministry will participate in the Aspen Transatlantic Conference and will have talks at the Atlantic Council. In New York Piantedosi will visit the New York Police Department and meet representatives of the Italian community.

Today -Instead- the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, is in Croatia where the work of the "Dubrovnik Forum" began, the most important high-level discussion platform organized by the Croatian government, which brings together government leaders, senior officials and experts.
The 2023 edition, 'Navigating The Global Reshuffle', is dedicated to the global consequences of Russian aggression on Ukraine. There will be five thematic focuses: international order, European energy policy, migration in the Mediterranean, prospects for Euro-Atlantic integration of the Western Balkans, role of the EU as a global actor.
Tajani spoke in the opening session of the Forum together with the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, Josep Borrell, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maria Pecinovic-Buric, and the President of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandrokovic.
“We are faced with very important challenges for security and peace” comments Minister Tajani “challenges that come from every quadrant and that we have a duty to face together. I am thinking for example of the Mediterranean, a priority area for Italian foreign policy, where we play a leading role as a bridge between Europe and the countries of the southern shore. Our goal is to contribute to stability and prosperity among all the countries in the area."
Minister Tajani will also have bilateral meetings with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, with the EU High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, and the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and Bulgaria, Mariya Gabriel.
