“Resign me? On what? Are you serious?” Santanchè replies to a reporter

“I will answer everything, I have been involved in politics for 23 years, I have always put my face to it.
Don't worry and wait peacefully."

This was stated by Minister Daniela Santanchè speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the Futuro Direzione Nord event Milano.

“Resign me? On what? Be serious. Shall we go after Report?” Santanchè replied to a reporter who asked him if he had thought about resigning. “It seems to me – he added – that the majority is not only compact, but more compact. You have to look for other things to ensure that the majority is not compact."

The replies come from the opposition.

“Daniela Santanchè must not go 'back to Report' but must give answers to the employees of her companies who have reported”. So the senator Dolores Bevilacqua, M5S representative in the Rai supervisory commission. “And not she – he adds -, but Giorgia Meloni, should take note that a person on whom the weight of a very serious investigation is enormous with the accusation of being responsible for budgets in the red, workers sent home without severance pay and companies put into brought to her knees by the lack of balance of supplies, she cannot be a minister."

"How can - concludes Bevilacqua – does the patriot Meloni still protect someone who remains clinging to her seat when, from what is emerging, she would have been awarded millions in compensation and benefits while her businesses collapsed and the workers were unable to even obtain severance pay? Don't you think Meloni that all this is simply shameful?”.

"Dimettermi? Su cosa? Sia serio?" risponde Santanchè a un cronista
