The Air and Climate Alliance is an institutional environment for equal discussion between the Municipality of Milano and a group of leading companies, in which the selected subjects can coordinate interventions and disseminate, enhance and share those initiatives that more and more companies have been implementing for some time now to adapt their profile to ESG criteria.
Capgemini Italia, Carbotermo, Carrefour Italia, Cariplo Factory, Deloitte Italy, Edison, Havas Media, InVento Innovation Lab, Legacoop Lombardia, Liquigas, L'Oréal Italia, Maire, OpenDot, Re-Solution Hub, Sky Italia, SOS-LOGistica, SYNLAB Italia Srl, Taua, TEKNE SpA, True Energy Advisory, Up2You: are the 21 'aware and resilient companies' that will become part of the group designated to promote greater awareness towards the issues of environmental transition in the corporate sector and to carry out activities and projects to adapt the business profiles to the ecological requirements that the transition requires.
The Unit will therefore participate in the "co-design" phase of the Air and Climate Alliance in the coming months. The Alliance will make it possible to systematize what the city's companies are already doing in terms of sustainability with impact on Milano and to stimulate further possible collaborations.
The guidelines developed during the co-design phase will subsequently be put out for public consultation so that the entire city business community can view them and contribute to the finalization in order to then be able to join the Alliance.
The creation of the Air and Climate Alliance joins the activities envisaged by the Climate City Contract, in order to generate an increasingly shared path in which to effectively integrate the contribution of all city components.
