The president of the Lombardy Region said it, Attilio Fontana, on 11 April opening the proceedings of 'Lombardia G7 Italia' underway at the Testori auditorium of Palazzo Lombardia.

Fontana finally highlighted “the centrality of transport and infrastructure” in the international framework, which – he said – “they must allow the transport of people and goods, but also the transfer of cultures, ideas and all types of knowledge”. Lombardy Region, added the president, “is very involved in this area and is proposing a series of innovative initiatives, for example the Valle Camonica hydrogen train. An innovation that goes in the direction of intelligent sustainable mobility that takes into account the environment, but also people and the economy."
