Agriculture, Lollobrigida: working to protect the price of our quality products

“Quality products, which produce well-being, made while respecting work and the environment, must obtain the right price and social recognition. For the Government, the need to ensure fair remuneration for farmers is central. We are developing a strategy to prevent products arriving from other areas of the world, where our food and work safety criteria are not met, with prices that end up penalizing our production. Transparency must be defended and losses of value along the supply chain must be eliminated. We are also acting in this direction in Europe where we have asked to create a price observatory to counter distortions and dominant positions that put Italian farmers and those of other member countries in difficulty". This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida in an interview with Messaggero Veneto.
