Liguria, a call for funding to support newsstands.

It will be active from the 4 18 December the new gang di Liguria region in support of newsagents. The measure, approved by the regional council on the proposal of the councilor for economic development Alessio Piana, Intends "promote and support the innovation and enhancement of Ligurian commercial businesses dedicated to the sale of daily and periodical press".

«Newsstands play an important function, not only for the widespread dissemination of information, but also from a social point of view. The growing competition represented by the digital channel presupposes a rethinking of the products and services offered – says the councilor Piana -. With this first measure, which will be followed by a subsequent one at the beginning of the new year, we intend, with interesting non-repayable contributions to cover 60% of the expenses incurred, to encourage a relaunch process that expands the opportunities for frequenting these fundamental territorial centers" .

Expenses relating to are eligible projects to be started or started from 1 January 2023, provided that they have not been completed on the date of submission of the subsidy application and concern: works relating to the structure of the sales points (including appurtenant furnishings); IT equipment for the provision of services and information (digital showcases, interactive totems, touch screens, software and internet licenses); equipment, instruments or machinery useful for the improvement and/or expansion of services (in particular for tourist information and logistics).

The investments eligible for contributions cannot be less than 2 euros, while the overall endowment of the instrument is 500 euros.

The contribution application must be sent electronically via PEC by the company to concessioni.filse@legalmail.it or by registered post.
