The last day of the Orientamenti 2023 Festival saw the presence of the Ministers of Sport Andrea Abodi and of Labor and Social Policies Marina Elvira Calderone, as well as the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Education and Merit Paola Frassinetti.

The last day of the Orientamenti 2023 Festival saw the presence of the Ministers of Sport Andrea Abodi and of Labor and Social Policies Marina Elvira Calderone, as well as the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Education and Merit Paola Frassinetti.
Minister Calderone participated in the event celebrating the “Competence as a school of life”, and brought institutional greetings before the entitled event “To those who hesitate”, a theatrical show to raise awareness of health and safety issues at work.
The objective is to, with exciting and engaging language, increase awareness and strengthen the sense of responsibility in the face of carelessness and violations of safety regulations, in a more or less serious form, which can lead to serious consequences in terms of Health & Safety.
The Minister of Labor and Social Policies Marina Calderone he declared, during the Orientations Festival 2023: “Deaths at work are slightly decreasing, but beyond the numbers we need to see what they represent, that is, lives lost in a working environment: a phenomenon that a country like Italy cannot afford. Our effort as a government is to improve the regulatory apparatus where it is needed, while recognizing the fact that Italy already has a very broad system of regulations, which is able to cover all these aspects" and he added “It is essential to do prevention, so that everyone understands how important it is to live in safe environments and not to underestimate any risk, because this underestimation can lead to injuries with serious or even fatal consequences. I believe it is important to work especially with young people, making it clear that they can become real 'safety standard bearers', capable of bringing these concepts into homes, families and every environment they frequent".
The Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi took the stage of the Festival together with the extraordinary commissioner of the Italian Youth Agency Federica Celestini Campanari and the President of the National Youth Council Maria Cristina Pisani for the event entitled “The dreams of young people build the future”: a moment of in-depth study dedicated to the importance of young people's commitment and participation and the importance of information, of the participation of boys and girls in the decisions of social and democratic life.
The Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Education and Merit Paola Frassinetti instead he participated in the event entitled “Science Shots: science in small doses for better orientation”, dedicated to scientific subjects and the need to invest more and more in disciplines dealing with mathematical, engineering and technological sciences. “The Ministry has launched a profound reform of orientation activities deemed essential to accompany students in their training and work path”, explained Paola Frassinetti, explaining the government's direction.
