Differentiated autonomy, five Regions will ask for a repeal referendum.
Le Regions opposed to differentiated autonomy signed by Roberto Calderoli they accelerate on the abrogative referendum.
An expected piece of news, given that the birth of a baby had already been announced Coordination between dem territories (Emilia Romagna, Campania, Puglia and Tuscany) and M5S (Sardinia) to write a shared text e «unassailable» to be submitted to the Council.
Between Thursday and Friday the five Regions will hold a meeting to examine the text which will have to be sent to the Consulta, but in the meantime the Venetian governor has made himself heard again Luca Zaia who talks about autonomy mere "application of the law". A response to the FdI Minister for Civil Protection In the Musumeci who had called him directly into question, defining his one «early request» and confirming the presence of «perplexity» within the government majority that voted for that reform.
That the issue on Autonomy has a full political connotation is confirmed by the position taken by the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein: «We are working with other political and social forces to prepare to collect signatures for the repeal referendum and in the meantime I can already announce that we will bring the request for a referendum to the councils of the Regions in which we govern».
The reply arrived shortly thereafter Alloy, which attacks: «The Democratic Party against the progress, efficiency, transparency and cutting of waste that Autonomy will bring. It doesn't surprise us.".
In Emilia Romagna the group leaders of the center-left have written to the Region to urge the calling of the repeal referendum, an acceleration which is affected by the imminent resignation of the president Stefano Bonaccini, which must enter the European Parliament by 16 July. The majority group leaders, Pd and M5S, also prepared the text for the referendum question (“Do you want the law of 26 June 2024, n. 86, 'Provisions for the implementation of the differentiated autonomy of the Regions with ordinary statute pursuant to article 116, third paragraph, of the Constitution to be repealed?') and they urged the president of the regional assembly to send the resolution to the regional councils. The meeting to discuss and vote on the request for the repeal referendum would have been set for July 9th. A similar route was announced earlier today Campania, which will meet its Council on 8 July.
And also close by Toscana e Puglia, although the date for the discussion of the resolution is not yet known. But there is also the Sardinia of the five-star movement Alessandra Todd, what they say «proud that the region is a leader against differentiated autonomy».
Many are on a war footing Calabrian municipalities, pressing the president Roberto Occhiuto: the territories that will ask for the repeal referendum «they are enough on their own, but Calabria should not stand by and watch and should join these Regions».
