Covid quarantine: how many days, new rules Strengthened Green Pass and Third dose

Anti-Covid decree: i not vaccinated who come into contact with a positive person: they will have to spend 10 days in quarantine, with a negative swab at the end, or 14 without a swab. The Council of Ministers therefore approved this first block of measures but a new tightening could be adopted already in the first days of January.

In the meantime, let's see the details and innovations of the new Decree below:

Forty:

According to the new rules, there would be three categories for quarantine:

• Not vaccinated: the current rules will continue to apply, i.e. the quarantine of 10 days with negative swab (14 without swab);
• Green Pass strengthened (vaccinated or recovered from Covid) for over 120 days (more than 4 months): quarantine is reduced to 5 days and at the end of this period a swab with a negative result will be requested;
• Booster (third dose) or with Green Pass strengthened by less than 120 days (less than 4 months): quarantine is no longer foreseen but a form of self-monitoring (no symptoms) and, on the fifth day after contact with the positive Covid-19 case, carrying out a swab with a negative result.

Super Green passes

From January 10 2022 until the state of emergency ends (31 March 2022), the use of the Reinforced Green Pass (or Super Green pass) for hotels, parties, festivals and fairs, conference centres, outdoor catering services, ski lifts, swimming pools, wellness centres, including outdoor ones, cultural centres.

The so-called Super Green pass which, we remember, is obtained for recovery from Covid or vaccination, will be necessary for access and use of the means of transportation including local or regional public transport.

Capacities

The approved Decree should provide that the capacities will be allowed at most 50% for outdoor systems and 35% for indoor systems.
