Creating new job opportunities and development in the area is the mayor's goal through technological innovation
Campobasso, the Municipality's project for the MolisCTE House of Emerging Technologies presented.
With a press conference held this morning in the City Council Hall of Palazzo San Giorgio in Campobasso, the mayor of Campobasso, Roberto Gravina, presented, together with the partners, the project of the Municipality of Campobasso officially reported to the city at the House of Emerging Technologies MolisCTE, for which the municipal administration of the regional capital obtained funding from the MiSE of almost 11 million euros.
It will be the structure of the Citadel of Economy in C.da Selvapiana, with its 965 mXNUMX of surface area, the main headquarters of the House of Emerging Technologies MolisCTE which has in Tiscali the reference technological partner and EY the partner for the entire management consultancy. Other places of research for what is the first true House of Emerging Technologies in the entire Molise region will be found at the University of Molise, at the Gemelli Molise and the Mediterranean Neurological Institute Neuromed IRCCS, also partners of the project which lays the foundations for creating a productive relationship in the area between PA, Universities, Competence Centers and Large Companies, with the support of other entities, in addition to those already listed, that are Comau SpA, the National Meditech Center, Coni, La Molisana, Molino Caputo, SEA – Servizi e Ambiente SpA, Ares and JustMO' .
“The objectives that MolisCTE aims to achieve – explained the mayor of Campobasso, Roberto Gravina – are linked to the will of create environments in our territory favorable to the promotion of well-being and communities. From this perspective, the digital technologies and innovation will be used as resources truly at the service of citizens, to generate a smart city which must be able to affect as a function of an improvement in the quality of life of our population.”
Also for this, the model of the House of Emerging Technologies of Campobasso will integrate the development and testing of innovative technologies in an urban environment with activities that facilitate the development and birth of local businesses linked to the territory through the transfer of skills. As already anticipated in the past weeks, they will be two different lines of intervention: that of the Cities & Intelligent Services for Citizens and Businesses is that Health, Competitiveness, Sportech, Wellness, and Citizen Wellbeing.
