Calabria, “Fusese” approved: 46 million to create employment and support local entrepreneurship.

"Another great result achieved in the Council with my proposal on the establishment of the "Fund for Self Employment and Seif Entrepreneurship (Fusese). Truly a great opportunity to finally detach ourselves from the preclusion that in Calabria you cannot work or there is no work. This action, with important and substantial resources aimed at creating employment, is today concrete, a favorable opportunity to build in Calabria and reduce the rate of unemployment and migration. With an initial financial endowment of 46 million euros we give the possibility to about 400 unemployed Calabrians to start a business in Calabria".

He states it with satisfaction the regional councillor for Labour and Professional Training, Giovanni Calabrese, the day after the approval by the Occhiuto government council of the “Fund for Self Employment and Seif Entrepreneurship (Fusese), a measure of the Pr Calabria Fesr Fse 2021/2027, under the specific objective 4.1-Action 4.a.1, aimed at improving access to the labour market and supporting unemployed, disadvantaged and highly disadvantaged workers in starting new innovative and sustainable entrepreneurial activities.

Specifically, Fusese allows you to obtain a part of the financing in the form of a subsidized loan (microcredit) and the other part in the form of a grant (non-repayable contribution). In addition to self-employment, priority is given to initiatives that can contribute to the development of the circular economy, energy saving and efficiency, and the protection and enhancement of the natural environment and regional cultural resources.

In detail, the contributions may concern self-employed/individual business activities with a maximum financing amount of 78.000 euros, of which a maximum loan of 40.0000 euros, a non-repayable grant of up to 38.000 euros; For partnerships, the maximum amount of financing is 148.000 euros, divided as follows: maximum loan 75.000 euros, maximum non-repayable grant 73.000 euros, with a portion of the loan at 0% interest.

"We will support the Calabrian women and men – he remarked Councillor Calabrese - who want to become entrepreneurs, so that they can believe in it and contribute to the development of our Calabria, a region that continues to grow thanks to the many interventions that the regional government with President Roberto Occhiuto continues to carry forward. The Work Plan, drawn up with the regional department, led by the general manager, Fortunato Varone, and shared with the Regional Table for labor services and policies, is planning, a growth path and we are putting it into practice by implementing active policies, acting with tangible actions by providing useful tools and answers to the requests and concerns of many Calabrians".
