Cagliari: the “Ninetta Bartoli” award to Councilor Viviana Lantini.
During the awards ceremony of the seventh edition of the award, named in memory of the first female Mayor in Italy, in Municipality of the island of Borutta, hosted at the Palazzo Regio of the Sardinian capital, the jury of the section of Cagliari of Fidapa (Italian Federation of Women, Arts, Professions and Business) awarded the prize “Ninetta Bartoli” atCouncilor for Social Policies of the Municipality of Cagliari, Viviana Lantini, with this motivation:
“Despite her heavy commitment as a doctor on the very front line, even during the pandemic she guaranteed her constant presence as an administrator, managing a complex department and never leaving anyone behind either as a doctor or as a Councillor”.
Viviana Lantini thanked: “For me it was a great honor to receive this award, as an administrator, as a doctor and as a woman. Putting yourself at the service of the community in a moment of great health and social crisis is a necessary act that I would do again a thousand times. I thank Fidapa for granting me this recognition."
In addition to the award to Lantini, awards were also given to four other women who have equally distinguished themselves in their activities aimed at the community. The awards went to Maria Paola Secci, Adriana Cammi, Desirè Manca and Viviana Galimberti.
Present at the ceremony, in addition to the other authorities, was also the current Mayor of Borutta, Silvano Arru.
