Cagliari: Civil Protection warnings and self-protection measures. For the Pirri area, list of streets where it is advisable not to park cars.
Starting from 18pm today, Monday 26th, and until 15pm tomorrow, Tuesday 27th February 2024, code yellow alert (ordinary criticality) due to hydrogeological risk in the Campidano. The warning from the regional Civil Protection with different methods and critical issues also affects Iglesiente, Montevecchio-Pischinappiu, Tirso and Logudoro.
In the presence of storm phenomena, the regional civil protection itself recommends: staying in your homes; if you are in a basement or ground floor room, go up to the upper floors; limit car transfers to emergency cases only; stay informed on the evolution of the phenomena, on the measures to be adopted, on the procedures to be followed indicated by the territorial Civil Protection structures. Furthermore, it is forbidden to cross flooded streams either on foot or by any means, to stop near bridges and banks of streams and/or rivers and to cross underpasses.
As a precaution and to further protect public safety, the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Cagliari means that from 18 pm today, Monday 26, until 15 pm tomorrow, Tuesday 27 February 2024, in the territory of the Municipality of Pirri it is advisable to avoid park in the streets: Balilla (from Piazza Italia to Via Dandolo) and side streets, Italia, Dolianova, Sinnai, Settimo, Mara, Donori, Santorre Di Santarosa, Confalonieri and Ampere.
Cars parked in the aforementioned Pirri streets can be moved to the parking area of the Terramaini municipal swimming pool, in via Pisano.
